Central Florida
Composite Squadron - 259
Red Wolves

Welcome to the Central Florida Composite Squadron of Florida Wing, Civil Air Patrol website. Our Squadron is a unit of Group 4,  Florida Wing, Southeast Region, National Civil Air PatrolUnited States Air Force Auxiliary – part of the total force.

As a composite squadron, the unit's membership consists of both cadets (12-20 years old) and adult members (18 years old and older). This squadron performs the tactical application of all three of Civil Air Patrol's Congressionally mandated missions: Aerospace Education, Emergency Services, and Cadet Programs.

The Red Wolves Central Florida Composite Squadron-259 of the Southeast Region Florida Wing are committed to the core values of respect, integrity, excellence and volunteer service while executing the CAP missions. We bring a balanced approach to aerospace education, cadet programs and emergency services by incorporating cadet and adult led instruction, hands-on training and an enthusiastic atmosphere. Parents are strongly encouraged to attend and consider membership as well.

Our Mission

Following World War II, the role of the Civil Air Patrol (CAP) in servitude to its citizens needed redefining. On May 26, 1948 the 80th Congress passed Public Law 80-557 permanently establishing the Civil Air Patrol as the auxiliary of the newly established U.S. Air Force.
